QUICK FACTS
Q: Who benefits from the diapers collected?
A: Through the Kyleigh’s Gift program, Liberty Hospital families who deliver in our Birthing Center are screened for need by a social worker. Those who have a need will receive 75 newborn or size one diapers upon their discharge.
Q: What size diapers are accepted?
A: We accept all sizes, but primarily ask for newborn and size one diapers for our Liberty Hospital families in need. Larger sizes will be distributed to local organizations also addressing diaper needs.
Q: Are opened packages of diapers accepted?
A: Yes! All packages of diapers are opened and made into bundles of 75 diapers providing a month’s worth of diapers, so any and all unused diapers are accepted.
Q: Can anyone become a mini diaper drive drop off location?
A: Yes, of course! Our mini diaper drives around the community help us expand our reach and grow the diaper drive. If you are interested in being a drop off location, please contact us at 816-792-7014 and we will get you the information you need.
Q: Is there another way to help support the drive if I can’t drop off in-person?
A: Absolutely. Last year, over 50% of our donations were online donations. You can use our Amazon Wish List Link to send diapers directly to us, or, you can make a monetary donation to the Foundation.
