Outright Giving

Gifts of current assets provide important support to our programs and initiatives. These may include: cash gifts (check, credit card, wire transfer), stocks and bonds, personal property, or gifts in kind. Liberty Hospital Foundation works to promote health and healing in our community. Your gift will be used to fund our entire mission.

The easiest way to donate is to make an online gift. The Liberty Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and gifts are tax deductible per state and federal law. You can review our Gift Acceptance Policy here.

Memorials and Tributes

Many families decide to establish a memorial for their loved one and direct gifts in lieu of gifts or flowers. As a lasting way to honor a loved one, you can purchase a memorial brick, tree or bench inscribed according to your wishes for placement in our Arbor or along the Walking Trail on the Liberty Hospital campus.

Tributes are a special way to honor an anniversary, birthday, celebration, or just to let someone know you are thinking of them. A tribute can also be made to thank a nurse, doctor, or other staff person at Liberty Hospital for their exceptional care. Find more information on our Grateful Patient program here.

Gifts in honor of someone special may be mailed or given online. Be sure to select the option to dedicate your gift in tribute or memory of someone and complete the required information.

Gift by bequest or estate plan

Including the Liberty Hospital Foundation in your will or living trust, or naming the Liberty Hospital Foundation as a beneficiary of a retirement plan or life insurance policy.

Charitable gift annuities

In exchange for a significant outright gift, the Liberty Hospital Foundation agrees, by contract, to pay a fixed amount each year to you and/or another beneficiary for life.

Charitable lead trust

Make a gift to a trust, which in turn makes annual payments to the Liberty Hospital Foundation. At the end of the term, the remaining assets go to your children or other beneficiary. This is beneficial to utilize appreciating assets that can be passed on to the next generation with reduced costs to the donor.

Corporate Giving

To encourage philanthropy within their companies, many employers offer options to match your charitable gifts at up to 100% value – doubling the value of your donations and your support of the organization. Visit with a Human Resources or Finance representative to determine if your employer offers a matching gift program. Some companies also match the value of volunteer hours.

Employers and other coordinated giving campaigns may also offer the option for you to “donor designate” your gift or pledge to a specific organization. This is a convenient way to make an annual or monthly contribution directly to the Liberty Hospital Foundation.

Please contact our office if you need assistance determining your corporate giving options.

Host a Fundraising Event

Host a third party fundraising event with your business, organization, community group, school or a group of friends that benefits the Liberty Hospital Foundation.  Third party events can be as simple as a Facebook birthday fundraiser to elaborate as a benefit concert.
