Liberty Hospital Foundation Scholarships
Thomann Graduate Scholarship
The Thomann Financial Services, Inc. Scholarship was established by Kari Jo Thomann Bear, CFP in memory of her father, John Thomann. She is passionate about creating opportunities for Liberty Hospital employees to excel and believes an investment in our current staff benefits the entire community. This scholarship supports advanced degrees such as MSN and MBA.
A maximum of four recipients will be awarded up to $1000 per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). No recipient will be eligible to receive the Thomann Financial Services, Inc. MSN scholarship more than three times. The scholarship can only be used for out-of-pocket costs of tuition and academic fees.
Scholarships will be awarded twice per year. Applications begin July 1 (deadline: August 1) for the fall semester and December 1 (deadline: January 1) for the spring semester.

2026 Nursing Scholarship Applications Now Available
The Liberty LiveWell Foundation (formerly known as the Liberty Hospital Foundation) annually awards one time, merit based scholarships to outstanding local high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in nursing. Students interested in applying should complete and submit the application below by April 9, 2026.
Applications are completed through Google Forms, you may be required to create a Google Gmail account if you do not have one currently.

Guidelines
Applicants must:
- Be, on April 9th 2026, a high school senior that wishes to pursue a bachelor’s degree in nursing,
- Have maintained an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher,
- Have been accepted to, and expected to attend, a four-year College or University,
- Complete and submit a timely application via the link below.
After April 9th, semifinalists will be selected for in-person interviews with our Scholarship Committee.
