Liberty Hospital Foundation’s 2024-2025 Strategic Plan Approved

LIBERTY, Mo., August 13, 2024 – The Liberty Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the approval of its 2024-2025 Strategic Plan, a comprehensive framework designed to guide the organization through a year of impactful growth and transformative progress. This plan underscores the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to enhancing healthcare, education, and community wellness, with a focus on measurable success in key areas.

“Our 2024-2025 Strategic Plan is a testament to our dedication to making a meaningful difference in the community we serve,” said Michael C. Russell, CAE, Executive Director of the Liberty Hospital Foundation. “This plan lays out clear goals and initiatives that will not only help us meet the needs of our patients and families but will also allow us to expand our reach and deepen our impact.”

Key Areas of Focus:

1. Fundraising and Resource Mobilization: The Foundation aims to exceed previous fundraising goals, with a specific focus on supporting the University of Kansas Health System’s Liberty Market. Key metrics include exceeding an unrestricted income budget of $150,000, securing three new grants, increasing employee giving, and converting 25% of TreeHouse guests into donors.
2. Marketing: The Foundation will implement targeted campaigns to broaden its reach and amplify its impact. This includes creating 30 news and blog articles, increasing eNews and USPS mailing growth, and promoting six promotional videos on Foundation programs.
3. Impactful Community Programs & Events: Major events such as the Liberty Half Marathon, Kyleigh’s Gift 3K Walk, Golf Classic, and Twilight will continue to serve as pillars of the Foundation’s efforts, with ambitious revenue goals set for each.
4. Empowering Staff and Volunteers: The Foundation recognizes the importance of investing in its people. Plans include hosting quarterly Board social events, conducting 360° reviews, ensuring 100% Board participation in committee meetings, and achieving 100% Board giving.
5. Financial, Operations, & TreeHouse: Financial stability remains a priority, with ongoing audits, policy manual updates, and a continued focus on supporting patients and families through the Liberty Market.
