LIBERTY, Mo., February 19, 2024 -After nearly a year of construction and almost six months of closure, the Liberty Hospital Foundation is proud to announce the re-opening of the TreeHouse. The re-opening symbolizes the end of the Branching Out Capital Campaign, a $2.6 million project that helped provide vital updates and upgrades to the hospitality house.

best possible patient care, providing a comfortable home away from home for families in the Liberty Hospital family who are already going through potentially difficult times. Imagine not making any upgrades to your own home in 20 years, it’s been a long time coming for much needed improvements! In the 20 years the TreeHouse has served the Liberty Hospital community, there were nearly 1,000 patients who stayed with us, and in the next 20 years, we can’t wait to hear 1,000 more stories.”

The upgrades focused on comfort like new ADA compliant and accessible bathrooms, kitchen spaces, and room features. In addition to vital maintenance fixes, there is brand new furniture, technology in every guest room, new appliances, upgraded security for guests, and more.

TreeHouse Hearth Room

Previously, the basement of the TreeHouse was underutilized, and this construction update completely finished the basement of the TreeHouse complete with a new Community Room, Patient Resource Room, Conference Room, community accessible bathrooms, and a test prep kitchen. Outdoors, guest can relax and enjoy the front patio, new back deck, or back gardens with lounge furniture and a path that leads to the Hospital’s Walking Trail.
