LIBERTY, Mo., April22, 2024 -The Liberty Hospital Foundation held a Ribbon Cutting Event of the TreeHouse 2.0, signifying an end to the largest capital campaign project in its history.
On Thursday, April 18th, gathered by the Liberty Chamber of Commerce, the campaign cabinet, community supporters, Liberty Hospital Leadership, and the Foundation’s Board of Directors and staff the TreeHouse was officially re-opened. After nearly a year-long closure to complete a two-story renovation, the TreeHouse is reimagined for decades to come.
Notably, the TreeHouse underwent a digital transformation with wifi, personal media in every hospitality room, a digital display in the community room and conference room, guest security and entry technology updates, and an internet lounge was created. Additionally, ADA compliance to guest rooms, kitchens, entryways, and community spaces were updated. Most excitingly, the unfinished basement has new purpose; with a community meeting room free of charge, a second kitchen, conference room, and Patient Resource Room, the TreeHouse has more amenities than ever before.
The Patient Resource Room will open in the upcoming fiscal year, and will be a space for patients to receive head shavings, wig and prosthetic fittings and more. The TreeHouse is a serene place where all patients can find sanctuary during vulnerable times.
