11th Annual Kyleigh’s Gift Anniversary Walk Impact Report
Fundraising for Liberty Hospital’s Tiniest Patients in Need:
The Kyleigh’s Gift Walk was established 11 years ago to support the Birthing Center families at Liberty Hospital. For over a decade, ss the program’s largest fundraiser, this walk 
celebrates and honors loved ones, gathering in recognition of National Infant Loss Awareness Day. This year, there were nearly 300 walkers to carry on this legacy! The walk brought in $28,000 to assist the Foundation’s Safe Sleep Mission: every baby born at Liberty Hospital receives a safe sleep sack.
This year, to kick off the walk, we gave away two awards to deserving families who have joined Kyleigh’s Gift since the beginning. The Kyleigh’s Gift Legacy Impact Award was given to Team Little Lincoln. This family has joined the Kyleigh’s Gift Walk since the beginning and is committed to honoring the legacy of their little one through Kyleigh’s Gift. The Wave Of Light Award is given to the largest team, Team Bryson. This team brought 20 family members and friend supporters to talk this year- thank you!

Kyleigh’s Gift also features a Family Fun Fest to kick off the walk, and hosts the Wave of Light Candlelight Ceremony after. We would like to thank our Presenting Sponsor, Northland Women’s Health Care, for making this event possible for so many families. Updated 2024 Sleep Sack Design
In addition, all families who deliver at Liberty Hospital are able to leave with a Safe Sleep Sack. There was a total of 1,575 families impacted by this Safe Sleep initiative this last fiscal year.
Every dollar raised is directly used to help these families. Kyleigh’s Gift impacts 25% of all families at the Liberty Hospital Birthing Center.
