Kyleigh’s Gift Liberty Hospital Birthing Center Family Impact 2023-2024

LIBERTY, Mo., July 26,2024 – Working with Care Management’s Birthing Center social work team, the Foundation is pleased to announce its annual impact on the families it serves.  This year was a record-breaking year for the Foundation with the most funds ever given in a single grant as a part of the Kyleigh’s Gift program.  Additionally, the increasing need for supplies since the 2020 pandemic continues to rise.

The Liberty Hospital Foundation awarded its largest grant in its history – $165,000 – to the Liberty Hospital Birthing Center. The grant provides a technologically advanced upgrade to the robust safety and security systems and procedures already in place.  The Foundation awarded the grant as part of its Kyleigh’s Gift program’s mission to provide health, education, and resources to the Birthing Center. The highly responsive system uses RFID technology to monitor the combination of heartbeat and heat to detect infant safety and automatically initiates security protocols to prevent any unauthorized movement of newborns.
