Meet Isabella:

Hello, My name is Isabella Bax and I am a part of the Liberty Hospital Foundation for the Spring semester. I am so thankful to have a chance to do this program through Network53. This program is through my school, Liberty North High School, where I am currently a Junior. Network53 is an Internship program that gives you real-world experiences and allows you to try out future careers. I found passion in event planning and shortly after I found The Liberty Hospital Foundations. The Foundation has 4 big events throughout the year. The Liberty Half Marathon, Twilight, The Kyliegh’s Gift 3k Walk, and the Golf Classic.

I was given the opportunity to decide on a future career path and fell in love with the thought of event planning. You get to work with a wide variety of people who come from different backgrounds, which has really left me open-minded and has even changed my mind set in many different ways.

The impact this internship has had on me has been nothing but positive. The team is so supportive and understanding and is always willing to help me and answer all of my questions. Watching all of the different pieces come together to create the big picture is so interesting and being a part of it is so rewarding. Something I think is engaging is how they do non-profit work. It allows you to contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining valuable experience in the business world. You can learn about project management, finances, and teamwork all while making a difference in the community.

Liberty Hospital Foundation is an excellent internship that can greatly benefit your future career, especially if you want to do business marketing as a career. By working with the Foundations, I have had the opportunity to learn about marketing strategies, campaign development, and contributor engagement. This real-world experience has given me valuable insight into the event planning industry and has enhanced my communication, time management, and innovative skills.

The Liberty Hospital Foundation is a perfect internship for me, as it offers unique opportunities to combine my interest in marketing, and business management, and teaches me a little bit about the finance side as well as event planning and creating relations around the community. Being a part of an internship is a great way to gain valuable experiences and make a positive impact on other people’s lives.
